Fahimeh Varmaghani's Research Group

Fahimeh Varmaghani received her Ms. in 2008 and Ph.D degree in Chemistry (Electrochemistry) in 2012 from Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran under the supervision of Prof. Davood Nematollahi, with focusing on electrosynthesis. She is currently Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry (in the field of Electrochemistry) at Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS). She joined as a faculty member in September 2016. Her group conducts research in electrosynthesis, development of redox-active electrodes for electrocatalytic applications and electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction and combing them with nanotechnology.
