I am a focused and diligent graduate student of Optics and photonics. During my master studies I have worked on localized surface plasmon resonance biosensors. I have tested a new method to dope the Ag nanoparticles into glass matrix using Electric field assisted film dissolution method under the supervision of Dr. Jafar Mostafavi Amjad. This new method helped us to control the size of nanoparticles. We applied electric field and heat simultaneously to dope the coated Ag layer into the glass substrate, on the other hand, by applying inverse electric field, we could made biosensors with Ag nanoparticles, almost all of them in the same size and on the surface.

In a nutshell, we were successful in making LSPR biosensors using EAFD method.
