I am an assistant professor of Applied Linguistics and TEFL at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), where I teach general English courses and hold workshops for students and staff. Research-wise, I am developing a model to evaluate the validity of the methodology section of research conducted in social sciences in general and related disciplines such as education and language teaching.
I have taught to undergraduate and graduate students at four universities in Iran. At IASBS, I have been involved in curriculum development, syllabus, and materials design for EAP courses for graduate students of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. I have also taught the EAP courses, which teaches graduate students how to communicate via email, and give talks in English in academic settings.
At Zanjan University, I have taught Interpreting and Communication Skills to undergraduate students of English Translation.
At Payame Noor University, I have taught the following courses: language testing, teaching methodology, theories of translation, translation of journalistic texts, basic translation, grammar, writing, and study skills.
At Sufi University, I have taught a course on grammar to freshmen English translation majors.
