File permissions in Linux ...
The directory holds two files related to bash scripting. Each file is belong to user aghods who belong to group users. The -rwxr-xr-x for each file is related to permissions. Each file has three sets of permissions (read, r, write, w, and execute,x) for three different group of people, namely user, the group user is a member of it, and other group within the computer. In the example above the files can be read, modified or removed, and execute by user aghods. However, other users belong to group users and other groups only can read and execute the files.
