Falk, one of the German participants in the International Summer School on Soft and Biological Matter (5-25 June 2004) is a PhD student of physics at Leipzig University. He's seen here doing a test drive on a local baby at Zanjan's 'Traditional Inn'!

 

 

Students and lecturers who took part  in the International Summer School on Soft and Biological Matter (5-25 June 2004), having lunch in the Refectory at the Old Campus, some three kilometers south of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences. Right in front of the queue you can see Prof Harry Swinney's back in blue; a fantastic physicist and a terrific guy from the University of Texas at Austin!  You can see another fantastic physicist and terrific guy in blue and cap right at the end of the queue, Prof Phil Pincus from UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara).
