Locus-driven based harmonic search (LDHS), an improved harmony search, focusing on using SNP locus information in initializing harmony memories. Considering genetic inheritance patterns and the effect of SNP locus on increasing the potential of interaction between those SNPs, a SNP grouping process in proposed. Using this SNP group information, the LDHS generates harmonies including SNPs with higher potential to interact in addition to random harmonies. The code is available here.
