Who Are We?

The DIMS Optics laboratory, which stands for Diffraction, Interferometry, Moiré Technique, and Singular Optics, is one of the experimental optics divisions of the Physics Department at IASBS. Our research focuses on diffraction and Fourier optics, interferometry and moiré technique, nondiffracting beams and singular optics, and thermal lensing. We have also worked on a number of interdisciplinary topics such as fluid dynamics, atmospheric turbulence, meteorology, landslide detection, seismometry, and large-scale structures vibration detections. If you are interested in these topics, we welcome you to join our group.
