Welcome to my research group page

I am a theoretical condensed matter physicist at Institute for advanced studies in basic sciences (IASBS). My main research interest is the study of electron transport in micro- and nano-structures. This field usually known as quantum transport tries to understand and exploit novel quantum mechanical phenomena in nanoscale. My current research is focused on transport including spintronics and thermoelectric features in 2D materials (graphene, MoS2, etc.), superconductivity and superconducting devices, topological states of matter and nonequilibrium transport in interacting quantum dots. I am a passionate teacher of physics, too and over the past years I have taught various courses from basic topics like mathematics for physicists, linear algebra, quantum and statistical mechanics to more advanced ones like condensed matter physics, nanophysics, statistical field theory and many-body physics.
