Simulation of the
physics
of growth
This project, whose first phase was completed in 2007, was part of my PhD research in physics with the
University of London, as an External Student.
I did this work at the
Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences
(IASBS)
which acted as my Supporting Institute. I also work here as the
Head of the
English Language Section (ELS).
Call for help and cooperation
in my PhD project (Project now completed)
Study of the
Physics of growth in Ballistic
Deposition (BD) and Restricted Solid-On-Solid (RSOS) models in 1+1 and 2+1
dimensions using Kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) simulation and
the Lattice Langevin Approach
(LLA)
Tools needed:
access to at
least one computer
at home or
at work.
Helping in this research project
is very simple since all the calculations have been made automatic and
hidden. All you need to do is download 1 file from
the Instructions page (the
Window or Linux links below)
into your
computer and simply double-click it to
start the calculations.
You
can stop the program anytime you want
and
continue it whenever
you want!
It continues
where it had left off.
If the program is stopped
accidentally, you can
simply double click it again to continue the simulation.
Please
register here
if you wish I'll then be able to acknowledge your help in my thesis.
