Department of Mathematics
Bio Department

Established in 1994, The Department of Mathematics offers a higher education program at M.Sc. and Ph.D. level. The active research groups of the Department are in the fields of algebra, analysis, geometry, graph theory, Computer Science and Financial Mathematics. So far, the Department has organized several international/national workshops and schools, which have been able to attract a number of renowned mathematicians from around the world. There are valuable exchange program between IASBS and the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Phyics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy, in which the Department of Mathematics takes part. The faculty members of the Department have authored and co-authored many scientific papers that have been published in international journals and conference proceedings.
