The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

A meeting has been held at the IASBS President’s Meeting Hall to commemorate and praise IASBS war veterans. In this meeting, which was held on Monday 10 June 2024 to honour the spirit of sacrifice and resistance, the IASBS President, Prof Babak Karimi talked about the sacrifices made by the country’s youth in different areas of activity during the eight years of holy defence against the imposed war, to preserve the country’s territorial integrity. He said that martyrs and veterans held a very important position. Referring to the culture of sacrifice, resistance and selflessness, Prof Karimi said the role of these spiritual elements were quite vital for the society’s transition at difficult times.
The IASBS Vice President for Education & Research and Administration & Finance, Prof Rashid Zareh Nahandi, then took the floor and said the imposed war was a great classroom and despite all the evils caused by it, the experience of war gained by the war veterans was a great blessing.
This was then followed by each IASBS veteran giving a short account of the acts of bravery performed by their comrades during the eight years of holy defence. At the end of the meeting, the IASBS veterans were duly praised and honoured.
