Description

I completed my PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at Shiraz University (Iran) in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Mehdi Rashidi, and moved to the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) as a permanent faculty member. Between 2013–2019, I was an assistant professor at IASBS. Currently, I am an associate professor at IASBS. I had several successful international collaborations with the University of Arkansas (USA), Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Germany), Politecnico di Bari (Italy), and Universidad de La Rioja (Spain). My group is an experimental organometallic team that focuses on molecular organometallic compounds. Most of the efforts in my group involve the discovery of synthetic strategies to control and optimize the photophysical and biological properties of organometallic compounds, pursuing compounds with enhanced or unique features.
