The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS President, Prof Babak Karimi, has met with the Managing Director of Zanjaan’s Regional Water Company, Mr Yousef Rezaapour.
In this meeting, Prof Karimi emphasised the need to determine the level of hazard at high-risk points on urban flood pathways. Making reference to the experience gained in the studies carried out for the first time in the country in 2017 on the Do-asb (two horses) flood route in the city of Zanjaan, he said the University was ready to cooperate with the Regional Water Company of Zanjaan to identify high-risk areas and to reduce possible damage on urban flood routes given the scientific and technological capabilities that exist in the management of the water resources in the Province.
Also present in the meeting was Dr Zohreh Masoumi, a member of faculty at the Department of Earth Sciences, who emphasised the importance of studying hazard levels on urban flood routes in urban crisis management. She said it was possible to calculate floor route hazard using Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Making reference to repeated droughts, increase in temperature, climate change, incorrect usage of water, and torrential rains, Mr Rezaapour said it had been necessary to charge farmers for agricultural irrigation in order to prevent excessive usage of water. He said that the policy strongly influenced artificial recharge, water balance, alteration of irrigation methods, and changes in cultivation methods. In addition to preventing a drop in the water level in the planes, he said it would also reduce the amount of damage floods might inflict.
In conclusion, the Managing Director of Zanjaan’s Regional Water Company said the participation and cooperation of people was very important in groundwater resource management, food security, adding that a review of the import and export of agricultural products was needed to optimise the consumption of water.
