Optics and Photonics Society of Iran (OPSI), with the support of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan, Iran, organizes monthly colloquiums on Optics, on the first or second Thursday of each month. Distinguished lecturers in the field will present exciting topics along with providing educational outreach to students. The workshop is open to all and it is free, but pre-registration is required.
On November 5, Professor Miguel Alonso from the University of Rochester, USA, will be presenting a lecture on:
“The Poincaré sphere: its generalizations and their several applications in optics”.
Time: Iran: 14:30 UTC: 11:00
