The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Optics and Photonics Society of Iran (OPSI), with the support from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) organizes monthly e-colloquiums on Optics, on the first or second Thursday of each month. Distinguished lecturers in the field will present exciting topics along with providing educational outreach to students. The activity is open to all and it is free, but pre-registration is required.
On January 7, Dr. Kok-Sing Lim from the Photonics Research Center, University of Malaya, Malaysia, will be presenting a lecture on:

Dr. Lim is the winner of 2020 ICO-ICTP Award.

Dr. Kok-Sing Lim:
Kok-Sing Lim received his B.Eng in Telecommunication from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya in 2008 and his Ph.D. in Physics from the same university in 2012. Currently, he is with Photonics Research Center, University of Malaya.
His research interests include Fiber Bragg Grating, Optical Measurement and Instrumentation, Spatial Division Multiplexing Technology and Medical Laser Devices.
He is the associate editor of IEEE Trans. on Instrumentation and Measurement, a corporate member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), a registered Professional Engineer (Telecommunication) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a member of IEEE as well as OSA. He is the winner of ICO/ICTP Gallieno Denardo Award in 2020.
