The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS President Prof Babak Karimi has appointed Dr Hamid Hadi Alijanvand as the new Head of the Biological Sciences Department. Prof Karimi has expressed hope that with the Almighty's blessings, Dr Hadi will succeed in carrying out his responsibilities. In a separate letter, The IASBS President also expressed gratitude and praise to the former Head of the Biological Sciences Department, Dr Atiyeh Mahdavi, for her service during her term in office.
In Dr Hamid Hadi Alijanvand’s letter of appointment it is stipulated that he will endeavour to give special attention to the following points during his term in office,
* make optimum use of all departmental resources and economise while endeavouring to improve green management and application of HSE rules in the laboratories,
* plan to make maximum use of the capabilities of the Biological Sciences faculty within the framework of collaboration among universities to launch new degree courses and fields of study with an interdisciplinary approach in mind,
* carry out constant evaluation and review of courses, eliminate redundant courses, enhance the quality and effectiveness of the syllabi at the master’s and doctoral levels, and plan to make courses more effective,
* put suitable plans in place to promote international collaboration at the Biological Sciences Department along the general policy of the internationalisation of the University,
* endeavour to maintain a calm educational environment for the students and promote student-faculty relationships, and
* provide reports on progress and achievements in each of the above cases at regular intervals and propose solutions to overcome future challenges.
