The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

A series of programmes entitled "Physics Chat" has been held in the lobby of the Department of Physics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS). In a bid to exchange ideas and delve into interesting topics in science, to promote free scientific thinking and discussion among students, faculty, and those interested in physics, a series of "Physics Chat" sessions were held in the lobby of the Department of Physics on 13 January 2024 with the topic “Time and Time Travel” and on 17 February 2024 with the topic “Brain Science and the World of the Future”.
In these two meetings, the physics faculty working in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, quantum physics, pure physics, and the physics of neuroscience, together with postgraduate students from different IASBS departments raised issues and challenged each other.
