The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Seven selected university lecturers from different IASBS departments have been praised and honoured in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in celebration of Teacher's Week and Educational Excellence. The event took place during a visit to the IASBS by the Deputy Minister for Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Dr Ghasem Amouabedini, and the accompanying delegation at the IASBS Council meeting on Monday, 29 April 2024.
In this meeting, Dr Hojat Haqshenas Lari from the Department of Earth Sciences, Dr Mina Zarei from the Department of Physics, Dr Saeed Zakavi from the Department of Chemistry, Dr Mohammad Hossein Alizadeh from the Department of Mathematics, Dr Bahman Farnudi from the English Language Teaching Group, Dr Atiyeh Mahdavi from the Department of Biological Sciences, and Dr Zahra Narimani from the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology were recognised as Exemplary Lecturers of the University.
The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences congratulates Teacher's Week and Educational Excellence to the country's scientific community, especially to university lecturers, and extends its sincere congratulations to the IASBS lecturers who achieved this degree of excellence.
