The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Four representatives of Zanjan province at the Islamic Consultative Assembly have met with the Acting Head of the IASBS, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari. The meeting, which took place on Sunday, 4 November 2024, was held in the Acting Head’s Meeting Hall. During this informal meeting attended by the esteemed representative of the people of Zanjan and Taarom, Dr Nabiollah Mohammadi; the esteemed representative of the people of Abhar, Khorramdarreh, and Soltaniyeh, Dr Mansour Alimardani; the esteemed representative of the people of Khodabandeh, Dr Ahmad Bigdeli; and the esteemed representative of the people of Mahneshaan and Ijroud, Engineer Seyed Jamal Mousavi, the parlimentaryrepresentatives congratulated Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari on his appointment as the Acting Head of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences and pledged their readiness for any collaboration aimed at promoting the university and addressing its affairs.
Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari in turn welcomed the esteemed representatives of the province and expressed his pleasure at their presence in the university considering it a manifestation of valuing and respecting the status of science. He described the unique features and achievements of the IASBS and said that it was among the top 10 universities in the country. Emphasising that the only way for countries to develop is through scientific advancement, he noted that the representatives of Zanjan Province in Parliament were characterised by their solidarity and commitment to the scientific development of the nation.
Prof Nasiri then announced the holding of the forthcoming First Conference Commemorating National Basic Sciences Day to take place in September 2025 saying that various programmes were to be organised to promote science and specialised meetings were to be held on that occasion. Highlighting the importance of the role of the MPs of the good and honourable people of Zanjan, he called for their support for the university's development programmes in education, research, technology, and innovation.
