The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr Hossein Simaei, has issued a decree appointing Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari as the President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) and wished him success in carrying out his assigned duties.
The text of the decree states:
In view of your level of commitment, expertise and valuable experiences and on the basis of the resolution passed during the 61st meeting of the Committee for the Appointment of University Presidents of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution dated 22/12/2024, you are hereby appointed as the "President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan” for a period of four years starting on 29/12/2024.
It is expected that, trusting in God the Most High, you will manage that university according to the approved laws, policies, and programmes and the Islamic University Document. It is hoped that you will carry out the assigned duties in a proper manner by following Islamic teachings, scientific foundations, the strategy of the Government of national consensus, and by securing the cooperation of academics and experts.
I ask God the Most High to grant you increasing success and pride.
