The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

In order to prevent and control the spread of coronavirus and allay the concerns of the students and their families, and following the resolutions of the National Headquarters for Fight against Coronavirus, all face-to-face educational activities at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) that were scheduled for next week (29 February to 5 March) are hereby cancelled. The administrative and research activities of the faculty and those students who do not reside in the dormitories will continue as usual while taking all necessary precautions.
A team consisting of the faculty with the required expertise and members of the Computer Centre is preparing the necessary infrastructure for virtual and distance education. The procedures and guidelines for using the new infrastructure will be communicated to the faculty and the students over the course of next week.
Plans are also being drawn up and will be announced to hold regular and/or makeup classes, according to the curricula and an extended academic calendar.
The working hours of the Administrative Section of the University will be from 8 in the morning until 2 pm, next week.
To prevent the spread of the virus, the following steps will be taken.
