Chemistry faculty wins 2020 Biruni Prize for Young Researchers

Dr Hamid Reza Shahsavari, an associate professor of inorganic chemistry at the Department of Chemistry has been awarded the 2020 Biruni Prize in the sixth round of competitions for Distinguished Young Researcher in Chemistry.  

The Biruni Prize is awarded every year by the Basic Sciences Group of the Iranian Academy of Sciences to distinguished young researchers in the basic sciences (biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, and physics) to commemorate the scientific contributions of the great Iranian scholar and polymath, Abu Rayhaan Biruni, who lived a thousand years ago.

The IASBS congratulates all members of the University, especially Dr Shahsavari, for this achievement.
