The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Minister of Science, Research & Technology, His Excellency Prof Mohammad Ali Zolfigol, has paid a one-day visit to the IASBS. In this visit, which took place on Monday, 11 June 2022, the Science Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Science Minister and Head of the University Students Affairs Organisation, Dr Hashem Dadashpour, and a ministerial delegation.
During the visit, the Minister was presented with reports on the activities of the Centre for Research in Basic Sciences and Modern Technologies, the Workshop for the Fabrication of Mechanical Laboratory Tools, and the stalls of the companies based at the Science and Technology Park.
After Prayers at the IASBS mosque and lunch at the IASBS refectory, the Minister visited the main laboratories in the Physics Department including the Amir 'Alam Ghazanfarian Electronics Materials Lab (charity donation), the Multidimensional Imaging and Detection Lab, and the Non-Diffracting Beams Lab.
The Minister then visited the IASBS Science Home, where the Physics, Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, and Chemistry Groups carry out extensive work on popularising the basic sciences in the society. The Science Minister said he considered the IASBS Science Home to be an effective step in the popularisation of the basic sciences.
In the conclusion of the visit, Prof Zolfigol attended the University Directors’ meeting and listened to the views and concerns of the IASBS directors. The Science Minister said the Scientific, research, and management achievements of the IASBS were a turning point in the tertiary education and especially the basic sciences in Iran. He reiterated that the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology would follow up the demands of the members of the academia. The minister pointed out the importance of a balanced distribution of talents in various subjects of study and said that the IASBS was a proud university and a forerunner in achieving many of the scientific goals of the country
