The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Dr Kazemi Ashtiani Award is granted to the IASBS Chemistry faculty member, Dr Amin Abdolahi Sharif Abad. Dr Amin Abdolahi Sharif Abad started working at the Department of Chemistry at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) in September 2022 after completing the faculty recruitment procedures.
The plan to identify and support the activities of young assistant professors, named the Dr Kazemi Ashtiani Plan, has been initiated by the National Elites Foundation. This award is given to selected young researchers and assistant professors in order to improve their abilities, support social responsibility, and support research activities and equipment, in order to solve the challenges and scientific research problems of the society.
The management of the University congratulates the IASBS faculty, especially Dr Amin Abdolahi, and wishes them ever increasing success in their scientific endeavours.
