More than 2600 school students benefit from IASBS Science House programmes in summer 2023

With the policies and steps taken by the IASBS management to expand the scope of activities and promotional programmes of the IASBS House of Science, this centre had a significant increase in its attendants in summer 2023, when more than 2,600 people, mostly school students, participated in the programmes and activities offered by the IASBS Science House.

Holding a Weekly Competition with more than 1700 participants, Observational Astronomy courses with more than 200 student participants, a 10-day Maths Summer School, and hosting or collaborating to hold a number of other student events (Science Cinema, Chemistry Education School, the 45th Round of Maths Competition, and the Meteor Shower Observation programme) are the most important activities that made the days crowded and popular for the IASBS Science House during the summer of 2023. The basic science classes for students of different educational levels, including 13 classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, conceptual astronomy, and biology, continued effectively this summer as well. And finally, adding scientific content to the Science House website is a new step that has led to a significant increase in visits to the Science House website visits. The scientific-promotional content of Science House is presented to the audience in a tab called “Science Hall” and includes sections such as “Science House”, “Learning Science”, “Science Journal” and “NASA's Astronomical Image of the Day”.

The IASBS management, appreciates the steps taken and successes achieved, and hopes for more successful days to come for IASBS Science House in the new academic year to achieve their anticipated goals.
