The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Dr Nasim Ganji's research paper has been selected and published on the cover of the prestigious Applied Nano Materials journal published by the American Chemical Society (ACS) at the invitation of the editorial board. In this work, ruthenium nanocluster catalysts of sub-nanometre dimension have been used as highly active species stabilised on a regular mesoporous carbon substrate with cubic symmetry (RuIII@CMK-8), for the first time in pure water and air, in the oxidative coupling reactions of alcohols and amines to imines.
The selection of the journal’s cover design by its chief editor is to emphasise the importance of the findings of that article for the readers of the journal and shows the high quality of the results obtained by the research team. Dr Nasim Ganji received her doctorate degree at the IASBS from the research group of Prof Babak Karimi and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in that group.
The members of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) express their sincere congratulations to Dr Ganji on this valuable achievement and wish her ever increasing success in her future endeavours.
