The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) has held a Nowruz congratulation ceremony. In keeping with previous years’ traditions, IASBS members met in a belated informal congratulation gathering on Saturday, 16 Farvardin 1404 (4 April 2025) to mark the Iranian New Year.
The event, held in the Physics Department’s lower atrium, southern fountain area, was attended by the IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, the IASBS Founding President, Prof Yousef Sobouti, as well as the vice-presidents and directors of the Institute. Faculty members, administrative staff, and a number of students also met and exchanged greetings. In his informal remarks, the IASBS President congratulated everyone on the New Year and wished health and a blessed year for all members of the university and their families.
This annual event is held at the IASBS to mark the occasion of Nowruz (New Day) and to renew bonds among the university community and leadership.
