International students visit historical and natural landmarks in Zanjan Province

A special excursion has been organised for international students to visit tourist attractions in Zanjan Province. The event took place on Thursday, 25 Ordibehesht 1404 (15 May 2025), in line with efforts to promote cultural exchange and introduce international students to Iran’s historical, cultural, and natural heritage.

International students from Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Senegal visited the Shrine of Prophet Gheydar (PBUH), Katale Khor Cave, and the Soltaniyeh Dome during this trip, which proved to be both enjoyable and enriching. The students expressed their satisfaction with the event and highlighted its positive impact on their understanding of Iranian culture and history.

The visit, coordinated by the Office of International Scientific Cooperation in collaboration with the Student and Academic Affairs Departments, served as a constructive step towards enhancing cultural engagement. It aimed to familiarise international students with Iranian culture, historical sites, and social life, while also creating opportunities for interaction among students of different nationalities and enriching the academic experience of international students in Iran.
