The IASBS President, Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has appointed Dr Abbasali Zamani as the head of the IASBS Science and Technology Park wishing him success in fulfilling his assigned responsibilities. In a separate letter, the IASBS President has also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the former head of the IASBS Science and Technology Park, Dr Ehsan Nedaaee Oskoee.
The appointment decree for Dr Abbasali Zamani states:
“In view of your commitment, expertise, and experience, you are hereby appointed as the head of the IASBS Science and Technology Park for a period of two years beginning from 26 May 2025. It is hoped that, with reliance on Almighty God and in consultation with your esteemed colleagues, you will plan effectively to enhance the level of technology in alignment with the university’s strategic plan and in compliance with upstream documents, particularly the Comprehensive Scientific Plan and the Seventh National Development Plan.
You are expected to focus on improving the performance of the IASBS Science and Technology Park, maintaining continuous interaction with various departments of the university and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology’s Innovation and Technology Department, pursuing matters related to the development of physical and technological infrastructure, enhancing both the quantity and quality of services required by technology units, achieving technological and innovation leadership and diplomacy, monitoring emerging technologies, establishing a technology hub aligned with the park’s mission-driven goals, securing funding through engagement with society, industry, and relevant national and provincial bodies, supporting the attraction of investment for technology-based projects, and leveraging legal provisions relevant to the field of technology and innovation, including Articles 11 and 14 of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law and other assigned duties within the park’s organisational objectives.
“I pray to Almighty God for your continued success,” the letter concluded.
