The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Dr Hossein Molavi, a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry, and Dr Mohammad-Hassan Vahidinia, a faculty member of the Department of Physics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) in Zanjan, have been selected as Distinguished Young Researchers and have received the Abu Rayhan Biruni Prize in its 11th round.
The Biruni Prize is awarded annually by the Basic Sciences Group of the Iranian Academy of Sciences to outstanding young researchers in the basic sciences (biology, geology, mathematics, chemistry, and physics) in commemoration of the high scientific standing of the great Iranian scholar, Abu Rayhan Biruni. The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, 23 October 2025, in the Prof Daavari Ardakani Hall of the Iranian Academy of Sciences.
The IASBS congratulates the two young distinguished researchers and members of the University on this valuable achievement.
