The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

By an order from the IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, Mr Mojtaba Shahidi has been appointed as the Director of Physical Education at the University. Prof Nasiri Gheydari has expressed his wishes for Mr Shahidi’s success in fulfilling his responsibilities. In a separate letter, the IASBS President has thanked and praised the former Director of Physical Education, Dr Abolfazl Rezaei, for his efforts.
In Mr Shahidi’s appointment letter, it is stated,
“In view of your dedication, knowledge, and experience, you are hereby appointed as the Director of Physical Education for a period of two years, effective from 14 September 2025. It is hoped that, with reliance on Almighty God and in collaboration with your esteemed colleagues, you will develop suitable plans to improve sports performance in alignment with the University’s strategic programme and the implementation of higher education documents, especially the Islamic University Document.”
The letter further outlines that Mr Shahidi is expected to focus on promoting physical activity and developing sports culture among the students, faculty, and staff, optimising the use of sports facilities, organising sports competitions, and overseeing the proper implementation of sports programmes, along with other assigned duties in accordance with the University’s goals and organisational objectives.
Prof Nasiri Gheydari expressed his sincere wishes for Mr Shahidi’s continued success in his new role.
