The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

By an order from the IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, Dr Dariush Abdollahpour has been appointed as the Head of the University’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group. Prof Nasiri Gheydari has expressed his wishes for Dr Abdollahpour’s success in carrying out his responsibilities. Additionally, the IASBS President sent a separate letter to express his gratitude and appreciation to Dr Saeed Abedinpour, the previous head of the group, for his efforts.
In Dr Abdollahpour’s appointment letter, it is stated:
“In view of your dedication, knowledge, and experience, and with the continuation of your educational and research duties, you are hereby appointed as the Head of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group for a period of two years, effective from 1 October 2025. It is hoped that, with reliance on Almighty God and in collaboration with your esteemed colleagues, you will make appropriate plans to enhance the academic level in line with the University’s strategic programme and the implementation of national higher education documents, particularly the National Comprehensive Scientific Map and the Islamic University Document.”
The letter further outlines that Dr Abdollahpour is expected to focus on the evaluation of the University’s educational, research, cultural, and executive performance, the improvement of quality in the University’s activities, reviewing, analysing, and updating the quantity and quality of the performance of academic, research, cultural, and executive groups, contributing to the development of the University’s strategic plan, organising training courses and workshops for faculty, staff, and managers, and overseeing the proper implementation of academic regulations, examinations, and university policies, as well as other assigned duties.
Prof Nasiri Gheydari expressed his sincere wishes for Dr Abdollahpour’s continued success in his new role.
