The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has appointed Dr Amin Abdollahi as the Head of the Entrepreneurship and University-Industry-Society Relations Group and has wished him success in fulfilling his assigned responsibilities. In a separate letter, the IASBS President has also thanked the former head of the Group, Dr Seyed Ehsan Nedaee Oskouee, for his dedicated service.
Dr Amin Abdollah’s letter of appointment states,
“In view of your commitment, knowledge and experience, you are hereby appointed as the Head of the Entrepreneurship and University-Industry-Society Relations Group of the University for a period of two years from 22 September 2025 while retaining your educational and research duties. It is hoped that with reliance on Almighty God and in consultation with your colleagues, you will make effective plans to raise the level of academic entrepreneurship in line with the University’s strategic plan and the implementation of national policy documents, in particular the National Scientific Comprehensive Plan and the Islamic University Charter.
It is expected that you will take serious steps to address the enhancement of the University’s relations with the industry and the society, the encouragement of academics to cooperate with the industry and the society under the Executive By-law Clause (i) of Article 11 of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Act, the organisation of courses and workshops to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer, and the promotion of business and entrepreneurship skills to meet the needs of the province’s and the country’s industries, along with other responsibilities within the University’s organisational objectives and duties.
