The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

A group of Year 10 school students from the girls’ Sama Secondary School has visited the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) to familiarise themselves with the university’s educational structures and research capacities. The visit took place on 18 November 2025 and included tours of the laboratories of the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics. During the programme, the school students observed laboratory facilities and procedures at close quarters and were introduced to the university’s scientific, educational, and research activities.
Specialists in each section provided technical explanations, outlining the research capabilities, laboratory processes, and educational resources of the departments, and helped acquaint the visiting school students with examples of research activities and the facilities available at the university.
