The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Iran, His Excellency Saliou Niang Ding, has visited the IASBS Earth Sciences Department. The visit took place on Sunday, 22 November 2025, during which His Excellency reviewed the department’s laboratory facilities and became acquainted with its geophysical and remote-sensing equipment. His Excellency also visited the advanced ICP-MS laboratory and learned about the department’s current technical and research capacities.
A number of academic members of the department held a cordial discussion with His Excellency, providing explanations on the capabilities of geophysical investigations, modern remote-sensing approaches and the role of geological laboratories in mineral-analysis studies. They expressed hope that this visit would pave the way for expanding scientific and research cooperation between the IASBS Earth Sciences Department and research institutions in Senegal.
