IASBS faculty member wins the Martyr Alimohammadi National Prize in Physics

At the Thirty-Fourth Research and Technology Festival of the University of Tehran and the Thirtieth University Book of the Year Festival, the IASBS Professor of Physics, Dr Seifollah Rasouli, has been selected as the winner of the Martyr Alimohammadi National Prize in Physics and has been honoured for his achievements. The official ceremony of the two festivals was held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, 14 December 2025 at the Allaameh Amini Hall in the Central Library of the University of Tehran and was attended by the university president and vice presidents, distinguished researchers, heads and directors of faculties and academic departments, and members of the media.

The Martyr Alimohammadi National Prize is one of the country’s most prestigious scientific awards in the field of physics and is presented annually to outstanding researchers who have made significant contributions to scientific and research advancement and to the training of specialised human resources.

The university management congratulates the IASBS Professor of Physics, Dr Seifollah Rasouli, and the academic community of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) on this valuable achievement and wishes him continued success in advancing science and research in the country.
