The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Three distinguished faculty members of the IASBS Department of Physics have been recognised as national scientific elites at the Tenth National Scientific Elites Event and have received formal recognition for their achievements.
At the Tenth National Scientific Elites Event, organised by the Iranian National Science Foundation and held with the participation of the Vice President for Science and Technology, Dr Hossein Afshin, along with a number of leading academics and researchers of the country, three faculty members of the IASBS Department of Physics were recognised as national scientific elites and were honoured for their outstanding achievements. The event was held at the Iranian International Conference Centre.
The selected IASBS faculty members are as follows:
the IASBS Professor of Physics, Prof Hossein Haghi;
the IASBS Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Physics, Dr Dariush Abdollahpour; and
the IASBS Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Physics, Dr Ali Asadian.
This distinguished achievement reflects the scientific commitment and dedication of the university’s faculty members and stands as a clear indication of the prominent role of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) in expanding the frontiers of knowledge and enhancing the country’s scientific standing.
