The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has met with the Director General of the Tax Department of Zanjan Province, Dr Mehdi Mohammedi. The meeting took place on 7 February 2026, at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), with senior university officials in attendance, and the Head of the IASBS Science and Technology Park, Dr Abbasali Alizamani.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed coordination mechanisms and follow-up measures for making effective use of the capacities provided by the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, as well as the existing challenges in the development of technology and knowledge-based production in the province.
At the meeting, Prof Nasiri Gheydari expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of the Province’s Tax Department and emphasised the importance of effective interaction between the university, the Science and Technology Park, and executive bodies in implementing laws supporting knowledge-based production for national development. He also thanked the Tax Department for organising specialised training classes and educational and promotional programmes on taxation for the chief executive officers of technology and knowledge-based companies in the province, particularly companies based in the IASBS Science and Technology Park. The IASBS President stressed that Zanjan enjoys significant capacities under the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law for technological development and for moving along the path of sustainable development.
The Director General of the Tax Department of Zanjan Province, Dr Mehdi Mohammedi, also confirmed the importance of this approach for the province and described cooperation with the IASBS as one of the most important driving forces behind knowledge-based production and sustainable development in the country.
At the end of the meeting, both sides underlined the need for the continuation of communication, the follow-up of the issues discussed, and the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
