The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

A faculty member of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) has been awarded the research fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation of Germany, one of the most prestigious and competitive international research supports.
According to the official announcement of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Dr Shiva Akbari Birgani, faculty member of the Department of Biological Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), has been selected as a distinguished researcher and awarded the Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers.
The fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is awarded to researchers whose proposed projects are designed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and modern scientific methods, and to contribute to the scientific development of their countries of origin. Receiving this fellowship reflects the scientific standing, research capability, and international recognition of the selected researchers.
