The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has appointed Mr Alireza Rahmatian as Acting Director of the Physical Education Department of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS).
In the decree, reference has been made to Mr Rahmatian’s commitment, individual capabilities, precision in carrying out assigned duties, and sense of responsibility. The responsibility for serving as the Acting Director of the Physical Education Department was entrusted to Mr Rahmatian from 8 February 2026.
The decree has emphasised the need for effective use of managerial capacity, careful attention to processes, and a responsible approach in implementing programmes, and has expressed hope that effective steps will be taken towards achieving the university’s objectives through enhancing the quality of health-oriented programmes and organising physical education affairs.
The university community congratulates Mr Rahmatian on this appointment and wishes him continued success in fulfilling his assigned responsibilities.
