The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Department of Physics’s weekly public seminar was delivered this week on Sunday, 15 February 2026 by the physics faculty and former IASBS President, Prof Hamidreza Khalisi-Fard at the Chemistry Lecture Hall.
During the talk entitled “Are classical frameworks of science education and public communication of science responsive to the present-day growth of society?” the challenges of classical education and its impact on students’ creativity and curiosity were examined. The necessity of revising educational structures, as well as the role of science communication institutions in responding to the new needs of the society, was also emphasised.
The seminar was well received by IASBS students and faculty, and ended with the participants’ comments and questions.
