"Resistance Economy and Entrepreneurship" Day is an opportunity to review the fundamental role of science, research, and innovation in building a sustainable and resilient future for the country in a world where scientific and technological developments change the path of development with unprecedented speed. Relying on internal capacities, training specialised human resources, emphasising knowledge-based activities, and strengthening the innovation ecosystem are an undeniable necessity for national progress.

The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), as one of the leading centres in science production and training capable researchers, has believed that the resistance economy is realised only under the shadow of expanding knowledge, deepening strategic research, and converting scientific ideas into impactful technologies.

This university has seriously pursued the path of developing knowledge-based activities, supporting innovative plans, and strengthening scientific and industrial relations by relying on the scientific power of faculty members, the efforts of researchers, and the motivation of its students.

In recent years, attention to problem-oriented research, creating suitable platforms for the formation of technological companies, and striving for an effective link between the university and society have been part of the strategic approach of this university in playing an active role in the knowledge-based economy.

We believe that every precise research, every active laboratory, and every small step on the scientific path can lead to value creation, job creation, and solving the real challenges of the country.

While commemorating this day, the IASBS sincerely appreciates the valuable efforts of the university community, from learned faculty to hardworking researchers and creative students who illuminate the path of progress with their responsible, scientific, and forward-looking vision.

It is hoped that with the continuation of these efforts, strengthening synergy between the IASBS and the society, the industry, and the executive bodies, and attention to the indigenous capacities of Zanjan Province, we will witness the further flourishing of scientific and entrepreneurial capabilities at the national level.
