Enthusiastic turnout of Zanjan academics condemns Zionist aggression and backs armed forces in defending the country

According to the public relations office of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), the IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, together with a number of university presidents in Zanjan Province, has attended the enthusiastic turnout of Zanjan academics in condemning the aggression of the Zionist regime and supporting the armed forces in defending the country. The gathering took place on 28 March in Enghelab Square, Zanjan, where they bid farewell to the martyrs of the American‑Zionist attacks.

In this gathering, academics from across the province stood shoulder to shoulder with the aware and loyal people of Zanjan, as in other parts of the country, taking to the streets and central squares to commemorate the martyred Leader and pledge allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei. Reading a statement, they declared their support for the defenders of the homeland, delivering a clear message that they, as academics, would not for a moment cease to defend the country’s achievements on the path marked by the pure blood of the martyrs and the Leader and esteemed religious authority, who was martyred in the cause of Iran’s dignity. They said that if the enemy sought to halt Iran with terror and aggression, they would, through scientific endeavour and iron resolve, turn every threat into an opportunity for the elevation of the name of Iran.
