Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

At the invitation of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), the Adviser to the Minister of Science, Research and Technology and Head of the Shahid Beheshti University Family Research Institute, Dr Mohammad Roshan, together with the Shahid Beheshti University faculty member, Prof Hossein Mirmohammad Sadeghi, have visited the university.
During the visit, the guests visited various sections of the university to become closely acquainted with its capacities, scientific and research activities, and certain achievements.
As part of the programme, the Amir Alam Ghazanfarian Electronic Materials Laboratory was visited, and explanations were provided regarding the laboratory’s fields of activity and its scientific and research capacities. Furthermore, the guests visited the Turkman Library and other university projects that have been constructed through the participation of donors or are currently under construction.
The visit was conducted with the aim of gaining a closer acquaintance with the scientific and research capacities of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) and developing connections and interactions between the university and scientific and specialised organisations.
