Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

By a decree issued by the IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, Mr Mohammad Kargarpisheh has been appointed as the Director of Security, to strengthen the safeguarding of the university’s assets and provide a secure, peaceful, and suitable environment for academic, educational, and research activities. The appointment took effect on 16 September 2026.
According to the IASBS Public Relations Office, the appointment decree was formally delivered to the Director of Security, Mr Mohammad Kargarpisheh, in the presence of the IASBS President, Prof Nasiri Gheydari and the IASBS Deputy for Administration, Finance, Education, and Research, Prof Rashid Zaare-Nahandi. This meeting took place on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
Under the decree, the Director of Security has been appointed for a two-year term, taking effect on 16 September 2026, in view of his commitment, capabilities, and experience, and with the approval of the Security Centre of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
The decree emphasises making use of the existing capacities and capabilities to safeguard the university’s assets, maintain order and security across the institution, and provide a peaceful and suitable environment for the university community.
It also emphasises compliance with the law, precision and integrity in carrying out duties, attention to the scientific and ethical values highlighted in the Islamic University document, and efforts to create a secure and peaceful environment for university lecturers, staff members, and students.
At the meeting, the IASBS President highlighted the importance of the security office in safeguarding the university and stressed the need to provide suitable conditions for the continuation of academic, educational, and research activities. He wished the Director of Security success in his new role.
At the end of the meeting, the appointment decree for the Director of Security was formally delivered to Mr Mohammad Kargarpisheh.
