Prof Axel Klein discusses German research funds at IASBS

As part of the effort to promote international collaboration the IASBS has invited Prof Axel Klein to give a talk on research opportunities in Germany and the scholarships available to researchers and scholars in other countries.

Prof Klein who visited the IASBS from 5 to 7 October 2019 is a Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Cologne, Germany and is the author/co-author of more than 190 research papers, reviews, book chapters and books. He is also an associated editor for two chemical journals and is an active reviewer for a number of funding agencies (Humboldt, DFG, and DAAD).

Prof Klein gave two talks at the IASBS, “The research opportunities in Germany within DFG, Humboldt, and DAAD” and “Coordination chemistry: from basic understanding to versatile chemical tools” and also visited the chemistry labs.

Prof Klein also met with the IASBS President, Prof Babak Karimi, during which they discussed various means of furthering scientific and international cooperations.
