About me

Another Abstract Image

I work in Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences as associate professor of physics. I have Ph.D. and M.Sc. of condensed matter physics from Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) (2004, 1999) and B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology(1997). My Ph.D. thesis was about forces mediated by non-equilibrium fluctuations and professor R. Golestanian was my supervisor.

The main line of my current research focuses on hydrodynamics and statistical mechanics of soft condensed matter. To see a detail of my scientific interests please see the group page. Part of my time is devoted to referee services for journals. Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. E, Euro. Phys. J E and Euro. Phys. Lett. are among the journals that I have collaborated with during last 4 years.
